Illinois Irrigation Contractors Surety Bond
The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) requires Irrigation Contractors that install or supervise the installation lawn sprinkler systems to be registered with the Department.
Contractor applicants will need to disclose each licensed plumber that they either employ directly or contract with. The contractor will also need to note the number of employees that they have that either install or supervise the installation of lawn sprinkler systems.
Surety Bond and License Requirements:
Contractor applicants will need to complete the registration application and pay the application registration fee.
Applicants will need to obtain a $20,000 lawn sprinkler systems surety bond.
The following contractors are required to have a surety bond:
Registration renews February 28 of each year.
