Michigan Uniform Surety Bond for Manufactured Home

A surety bond must be filed before you can title your Michigan manufactured home. If the manufactured home has no record of previous ownership, then you must file a Manufactured Home Uniform Surety Bond. Also called a TR-122.

The amount of this surety bond must equal twice the value of the manufactured home. The surety bond is commonly issued for five years. If no claims are made against it at the end of five years, the department will return the bond.
